Can't I just sell my items on an Individual Account?
Unfortunately no. In efforts to prevent the site becoming a haven for spam, we have specifically devised the two account types: Individuals, and Businesses. Further, businesses who want to sell on the site directly, need to sign up on a vendor plan.
Individual accounts which are found to be used for business promotion will be issued a warning. If abuse is continued, they will ultimately be given the option to upgrade to Business, or have their account removed.
How will I get paid?
You can choose to link your selling account to a PayPal account, or enter your bank information. Payments will be transferred to you immediately after an order is completed.
The duration in time it takes till the payment hits your account will vary, based on your withdrawal selection. PayPal is typically instant, whereas a bank transfer may take a few business days.
While Celts Connect does not charge any withdrawal fees, you’ll want to please refer to PayPal, or your bank, to verify any possible transaction fees they may collect.
How are orders fulfilled?
You will have sole control, and responsibility for fulfilling orders. Once an order comes through to your dashboard, you’ll have the buyer’s shipping info, and shipping method (based on the options you decide to offer).
You can then begin preparing your item for shipment to the customer. You’ll have the option to place tracking information, should you choose to offer that.
Can I offer returns & refunds to customers?
Definitely! There is an option in your dashboard where you can configure store policy, as well as the return/refund policy, specifically.
Does it matter where I live?
Not at all! We are a global community, with a global market. You will just want to ensure you clearly state in your store policies, where you ship, and where you do not.
You will also have the option to setup your own shipping methods & rates. You can configure a local shipping option, and international, for example.
Do you give refunds if I want to cancel?
Unfortunately no. Fees are collected as a membership, which is renewable. If you decide you’d like to move on, no problem! Simply make sure to cancel your membership prior to your renewal date, and you won’t be charged anymore.
If I cancel my Vendor account, will I lose access to my profile page?
Yes. If you cancel your vendor account, you will lose access to your store, as well as the Celts Connect network.
If you want to keep your business account, but no longer need you sell, you can downgrade to a regular Business Membership.
If you no longer need to promote your business, but want to remain on Celts Connect, you can close your business account, and sign up with a new account as an Individual.
Do you offer other ways to promote my business?
Definitely! We have other options, such as Business Pages, for enhanced interaction with other users.
